Ossian is where a lot of Fort Wayne workdays go home to sleep — a Wells County bedroom community of tidy ranches, 1990s-and-newer family houses, and a school system that keeps pulling young families south down SR 1. The drywall work follows the demographics: basements that need finishing, first-decade punch lists, and the everyday dings of full households. Fort Wayne Drywall Co. covers all of it, minutes down the road.

The Family-House Fix List
Houses with kids and dogs generate drywall work — it's a law of nature. Doorknob holes in bedroom walls, dented stairwell corners, the mystery crack over the garage door, the bathroom ceiling that caught a shower leak. We clear those lists in batched visits: one trip, several fixes, textures matched, per-repair cost way down. And when the family outgrows the floor plan, the unfinished basement downstairs is the affordable answer — we take those from concrete to carpeted-and-painted-ready.
Get More From a Household Repair Visit
Make one list of the wall and ceiling repairs you want addressed in your Ossian home. Include damage behind doors, chipped corners, old anchor holes, and earlier patches that still show. Note any returning cracks or water stains so they can be discussed separately from simple cosmetic damage.
For a pre-listing project, explain which rooms are being painted and when you need access restored. Ask for the repair area and finishing scope to be clear in the estimate. Grouping the work lets you review the full project before choosing what to tackle first.
